It's your day fellow PACS Administrators this Friday, August 27th.  A day for all to appreciate the overworked, under appreciated PACS administrators everywhere.  In celebration of this day, I'll rummage around my bag of code and find an app I should have published months ago and post it here.  Until then, enjoy your radiation symbol shaped cookies, attempt to explain your job to someone in less than 50 words, and party like it's 1999 (when fixing imaging exams meant covering errors up with stickers)!

Update #1: OK, I blindly reached into my code archive and pulled out ConvertLogs.   I just posted the instructions on how to use it here.  It reformats the audit data in a RadSuite PACS exam's Activity Log and puts it into tab delimited format so you can easily paste the data down somewhere else.  Hope you like it!

Update #2:  Someone top this AIPAAD2 surprise: my funds request to upgrade all my PACS hardware was approved!  Woo hoo!  Finally I can leave my cramped kiddie pool NAS and swim in storage that has room to breath.  New server clusters, SUSE Linux, diagnostic monitors with centralized QA...  Oh, and the plans I have for my diagnostic workstations!  I can hardly wait to tell you about them...

Update #3: Special thanks to everyone at my local hospital that remember the holiday!  The cake was delicious and the card was great!  Now, where to go out to eat tonight?
